Our story
Chai Space lives on one of Burlington's most beloved blocks — 179 Bank Street — and it was built around a simple conviction: that good food and a calm atmosphere can make an ordinary afternoon feel like something more.
We bake in-house every morning. Our pastries, breads, and sweets are made from scratch using straightforward ingredients — flour, butter, sugar, eggs — and the kind of patience that can't be rushed. The grocery shelves beside us carry a curated selection of pantry staples, teas, and provisions we'd actually use at home.
Whether you're grabbing a coffee on your way to work or settling in for an hour with a book and a croissant, there's room for you here.
